Under the motto BEST OF DESIGN, the magazine SCHÖNER WOHNEN has been presenting its selection of the best furniture and home accessories since 2016, and since 2021 also as a competition in which the winners can licence the BEST OF DESIGN-Award seal and use it for advertising.

Since 2022, SCHÖNER WOHNEN has been working with Globis Consulting to meet the more complex requirements of the competition. Globis is responsible for the organisational implementation.

As an essential condition, it is required that submitted products are industrially, serially manufactured and currently available on the market for the end consumer. In addition, the above-mentioned products whose market launch is still imminent can be submitted.

With the submission, the entrant must provide certain minimum information (details can be found in the submission form; you must register in advance), which is necessary for the assessment. However, please feel free to contact us if you have difficulties providing the information in the correct format.

In addition, submitted products must not violate applicable law.

By participating you agree to license the BEST OF DESIGN-Award seal at the stated price if your product has been awarded by the jury. This means that the fees consisting of the submission fee and, in the case of an award, the licence fee will be charged in any case. However, it is up to you whether you actually use the award seal.

SCHÖNER WOHNEN is the most widely read interior design magazine brand in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. SCHÖNER WOHNEN is seen by the interested public as a very important source of advice and recommendations for all questions on the subject of furnishing. it is also the biggest magazine in Europe in the field of interior design.

The BEST OF DESIGN-Award seal represents a strong product recommendation and has a positive effect on the perception and sales of your product through the image transfer of the SCHÖNER WOHNEN brand. The use of the seal in advertising or directly at the POS (point of sale) is particularly recommended.

In addition, publication in the BEST OF DESIGN Special issue of SCHÖNER WOHNEN magazine or online at schoener-wohnen-bod.com gives your products a further advantage. The special issue and the product gallery on the BEST OF DESIGN website also serve as a reference work for readers’ future upcoming furnishing projects.
